Cabinet approves 4 more holidays in Thailand for 2022

The cabinet approved Thursday four additional national holidays in July and October next year, to extend existing holidays.

Traisuree Taisaranakul, Deputy Government Spokesperson, stated that the Friday July 15 holiday will result in a five-day vacation starting Wednesday July 13 at Buddhist Lent.

Friday, July 29, will bridge the gap between July 28 (the birthday of His Majesty The King) and July 29.

Friday, October 14 will be the bridge between Oct 13 (the day King Rama IX died) and the weekend.

Friday, December 30, 2022 will be a 4-day holiday during the New Year transition period.

The cabinet approved Dec 28th, King Taksin Memorial Day as an additional national holiday for eight eastern provincials — Nakhon Nayok and Prachin Buri; Sa Kaeo and Chachoengsao; Chon Buri; Rayong, Chanthaburi, Trat.
