Where to Go in Singapore at Night: 20 Ultimate Things to Do in Singapore at Night

We all know the score – staying up late at night because we can’t sleep. We’ve all been through it, and we’ve all lain in bed bored out of our minds.

Fortunately, in Singapore there is so much to do and see that there is absolutely no reason for you to be bored at any time of the day – or night. Yes, the night. If you don’t know where to go in Singapore at night yet, have the urge to do something other than spending away your night in front of the TV, here’s a whole list of things to do in Singapore at night.

1. Go fly a kite

Relive a childhood pastime, and actually be able to see what you’re doing. It is so much more enjoyable to fly a kite under the stars when you don’t have to deal with the hot sun and when you don’t have to squint because the sun is getting in your eyes. The night time has a special stillness that you can never get to see in the daytime. Plus, head over to Marina Barrage and you’ll be treated to a fantastic view of the night skyline of Singapore.

2. Night cycling

There is less traffic, the air is so much fresher, and there are hardly any crowds. The best part is, there is no sun – so no perspiration and no sunburn. If you don’t own a bike, it is very easy to rent one out either online or in person.

3. Stargazing

This is one of the cheapest and most low-budget things to do in Singapore at night. All you need to take along is a picnic mat and some insect repellents. This is also a perfect date night idea – bring your date along and make a picnic of it. For the extra romantic touch, bring in some wine, chocolates and some seasonal fruit. Your date is sure to be impressed!

Go out with your friends or even your date and get a break from the boring concrete jungle that, let’s admit it, will begin to feel suffocating after a wall.
