Let’s start with Pad Thai as it is one of the most traditional Thai dishes. With an exotic mix of flavours, this dish is hard to get sick of.

For a serving of 4 (more or less), you will need the following ingredients:

  • 8 ounces of rice noodles
  • 3 tablespoons of fish sauce
  • ¼ cup of tamarind juice
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons chili sauce (add one more if you like it hot!)
  • 1 teaspoon of chopped garlic
  • 4 tablespoons of vegetable or peanut oil
  • 8 ounces of chicken, shrimp, or tofu
  • ½ cups of chopped scallions or shallots
  • 1 lime
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup of bean sprouts
